Service introduction

PCCW-HKT mobile service’s RoamSave^(1)(2)(4)⁽⁵⁾⁽⁶⁾is a VoIP application, based on Wi-Fi connectivity, for use in Hong Kong and while you are abroad. It offers FREE⁽³⁾ voice call minutes for making outgoing calls to any Hong Kong number and receiving incoming calls from anywhere in the world. Above all, RoamSave will save you huge voice roaming expense!

[New] Newly introduced free video call within RoamSave community.

RoamSave means:

You can make/receive call, regardless of whether the called person is on a fixed-line or served by a mobile service provider. The person you call, or who calls you, does not have to be a PCCW-HKT mobile service subscriber or install the application.
You may also make/receive video calls to/from other RoamSave users.
You can continue to use your current PCCW-HKT mobile service’s number and have your caller ID displayed for people you call, or who call you.

2/ Go to Google Play, App Store or App World and use “PCCW” as the search phrase

Remarks:

1. RoamSave service is only available to PCCW-HKT mobile service subscribers and is provided to you under the terms and conditions of your mobile service contract.

2. RoamSave is compatible only with certain handsets, please click here to see the full list of models supporting RoamSave. PCCW-HKT mobile service cannot guarantee RoamSave service performance on handset models not listed, nor voice call quality at every single Wi-Fi hotspot or any other place where Wi-Fi is available.

3. IDD charges will apply if making calls to non-Hong Kong phone numbers, and local voice call minutes will be deducted/charged for the duration of such a call during all calls. Charges for Wi-Fi connectivity and IDD charges (if any) are additional.

4. RoamSave supports video calls within RoamSave community with selected handsets.

5. The RoamSave service may be used to make emergency calls in Hong Kong. However, while you are abroad you should call local emergency number via your regular voice roaming service.

6. Upon your use of the RoamSave service, we shall use your PCCW-HKT mobile service's number for verifying your eligibility for the RoamSave service, and for the billing of your use of the RoamSave service in the corresponding PCCW-HKT mobile service account by PCCW Mobile HK Limited.

7. Download the application from Google Play, App Store or App World will incur local mobile data charge, while roaming data charge will incur in overseas.

8. RoamSave is not applicable to NETVIGATOR Everywhere users.

9. When a China Hong Kong 1-Card-2-Number customer uses RoamSave service, both Hong Kong and China numbers will turn into RoamSave numbers. If the Hong Kong number is being called, only RoamSave minutes will be counted, while no China 1-Card-2-Number call minutes will be deducted. If the China number is being called, RoamSave usage charge an a $1/min connection fee will apply.

10. The above tariff is only applicable to PCCW-HKT mobile service’s postpaid customers. For PCCW-HKT mobile service rechargeable card customers, only $8/day for making unlimited outgoing calls to any Hong Kong phone number.
