No registration is required. Simply download and install the software on your PC and you can start enjoying the service immediately.
Q:How do I install and start using Desktop Message Express?
1. Download the software and save the file on your PC.
2. Unzip the file and run the "setup.exe" program.
3. Follow the instructions to complete the installation.
4. Restart your PC, if necessary.
5. Double-click the Desktop Message Express icon on your desktop to run the application and it will run automatically after restarting your PC.
6. Login with your PCCW mobile number and password to start using the service.
Q:How can I send SMS messages with Desktop Message Express?
1. Type your message in the message box.
2. Enter the phone number you want to send a message to in the "To" field.
3. Click "Send Now" to deliver the message instantly. Or, press "Send as Scheduled" and set the time to send.
Q:Can Desktop Message Express save my friends' phone numbers?
Yes. You can create a "My Buddy List" to store friends' names and mobile phone numbers.
Q:Can I send SMS messages to two or more friends at once?
Yes. Check the boxes to select friends on your buddy list. Your friends' phone numbers will then appear in the "To" field, separated by commas. To send messages to the same group of friends on a frequent basis, you can create a group that includes at least 3 friends. Groups on your buddy list are identified by the prefix "(G)".
Q:Can I send SMS messages to friends using other mobile operators?
Yes. You can send SMS messages to your friends' mobile numbers even if they are not PCCW mobile subscribers. However, the group message function only supports Hong Kong mobile numbers.
Q:Can I send SMS messages to overseas mobile numbers?
Yes. To send messages to a non-Hong Kong mobile number, enter "country code" + "mobile number" in the "To" field. However, the group message function only supports Hong Kong mobile numbers.
Q:How many buddies can I add to My Buddy List?
You can store up to 200 buddies on the list.
Q:What are the minimum and maximum numbers of buddies included in a group?
A minimum of 3 and a maximum of 100 buddies..
Q:How can I check the number of SMS messages I have sent?
The total number of characters and the number of SMS messages sent are displayed on the message panel.
Q:Can I send SMS messages to landline numbers?
Yes, but you can only send to registered fixed lines, prefixed with 8522 and 8523, that support landline SMS service.
Q:How many buddies can be located at one time?

Press "Send as Scheduled" and set the time to send. If the time you want the message to be sent is earlier than the time at which you set the schedule, it will be sent immediately.
